Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Mindy Vernon is a painter and graphic designer living and working in Snowmass Village, Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Mindy remains excited by the exploration of motion, color, and light and the influences of the mountains around her. Mixed media, collage, family history and tradition often make their way into her paintings. Mountain landscapes, desert vistas and remote beaches remain her inspirations.
Mindy’s work has been exhibited at venues including The Aspen Art Museum, The Aspen Chapel and The Red Brick Center for the Arts. Awards include “Most Original” at the Swan Show in Carbondale, Colorado. Mindy is currently a resident artist at The Red Brick Center for the Arts, where she has an ongoingstudio practice and continues to develop a visual language that is purely her own.
